Girl's Trip 2013

So I have a LOT to catch up on. Sometimes I just stop uploading pictures onto the computer and then I stop blogging altogether. It's a terrible habit. Anywho... here's a smattering of pictures from the annual Hoffman Girl's Trip (!!!!!!) in February (in no particular order). We all flew in to Denver and stayed in one of the cutest little mountain towns on the planet: Estes Park.

It was WAY too much fun.

Dangerously Fun. (mostly when you sat next to Christy while playing games)

Abigail seemed to think the trip was all about her. She came for the milk. Next year it'll be audios bebe.

Kristi and Danny's little boy, Jack. He came for a short visit one day... and I definitely needed a picture. Staring at him just didn't last long enough. Click.

From Left to Right:
Back: Kristi, Mama, Briana, Jen
Front: Christy, Me, Julie

So much attractiveness all in one picture. How do we do it?

Elaine is Kristi and Danny's second. Mostly she kept her distance from me. Didn't quite get my sense of humor I guess. But she and little Abby sure do look squishy.

Ahhh sisters. If any of you want to move back I'll pay you $10. Say yes! The offer is only good for the rest of my life... so... jump on it.

Notice how Danny (wait... I thought he was of the male gender...) has spaced himself away from Christy. She doesn't understand personal space while playing games. Or that games have rules... and you're supposed to keep the rules.

See? Cute. We spent quite a bit of town on this street shopping.

Once again... trips not about you Abigail. But look at all those fingers and toes!

Okay, maybe everything is about you. Everything in my whole life.

Shopping. I love these ladies. And I love when we shop together.

Kristi got us this sweet condo hook up. The trees and mountains were beautiful.

(sometimes I get competitive at gaming. This might be a "V" for victory cheer...)

I am once again without words for how wonderful my Ryan is for sending me on this trip. He's the best.
Other notable things about said trip: Hot tubbing in freezing cold weather (like you could slip on the ice just before entering the pool), sleepover with Julie in the living room- 500 days of summer and whispering secrets, a terribly yummy soup by Briana, cute wreath making by Kristi, good conversation with everyone. Mom- thanks for having all seven of us kids... and to my in-laws... thanks for putting up with the oddities of the Hoffmans and marrying in anyway (or while still oblivious to the family ways). Can't wait for next year!

(*pictures stolen from a whole host of individuals- it was a group effort*)

  3. pssshh. i wasn't going to comment but then i saw that my honor MUST be defended. is it cheating when a small child kind of bends the rules? of course not. it's a child, and they stink at games. the same can be said for me. we just purchased spot it and played with sophie and lincoln and i BARELY beat them when i was trying my hardest. can you really pick on someone so terrible? just doesn't seem the christian thing to do... :D

  4. I loved looking at the pictures again, and remembering what a wonderful time it was to be all together. Such great memories--and hot tubbing in the freezing cold was fabulous! I'd never done it before, but it was perfect. Can't wait for next year!
