March 17th the kids woke up and found at least one leprechaun had entered through our magical door during the night and created mischief. He'd turned couch cushions, he'd dropped coins and gold nuggets, he'd gotten into our flour, he'd turned our milk and poppyseed bread green.
Go Leprechauns.
What an awesome mom you are! I wish I could do it all over again and do all the fun things you do!
ReplyDeletefirst of all, what is this groovy white door i spy? i like. secondly, good work leprechauns! (i totally had to look at your title to see how to spell that word.) would you like to hear about our st. patrick's day? i bought some skittles and made a mental plan of a few silly things i wanted to do. the next morning in the rush to get ready for church and all that i TOTALLY forgot. no green, no leprechauns, no nothing. i know, i know. worstmomever.com. my kids didn't say anything that day, but like a week later, sophie said, "the leprechauns didn't come this year. huh." huh.
ReplyDeleteit's hard when st. patrick's day is on sunday because there is no running out to the store for the things you forgot! we almost had disaster this year, but the leprechauns made it at the last second with an improvised bunch of shenanigans. you guys sound like you were on the ball. nice work!
ReplyDeletethe door idea is such a good one!
That is so stinkin' cool! Yes! I like it.
