Eric and Briana have a tradition to decorate these Spritz Cookie each year for Christmas. And they've let us tag along the last few years.

Tic usually only felt up to making one cookie at a time. Then he'd need to eat it before starting onto the next.
It's all about the sprinkles and how many you can pile on ONE COOKIE.
Elena and Jo were troopers. They each only finished a few cookies. But boy were those cookies covered in frosting and sprinkles.
Lily was pretty cute walking around all night with her dum dum sucker and bowl of sprinkles.
I was slightly anti-energy that night. I kind of made Briana take care of my children while I sat on the opposite side of the table. Sorry Briana.
Gross.
I don't mean to sound like the cookies aren't good. They're delicious. And they're super fun to decorate. But the cookies the kids got a hold of were disgusting. Truly, truly not edible. Except that they ate them. But when has the fact that something's not edible ever stopped one of your churchlynns from eating it? It was a very fun night. We love this tradition and hope the Eric Hoffman family will invite us again next year!

hooray for spritz cookies!! :) i had forgotten all the "epic-ness" of the night - tic eating his just decorated cookie before starting on the next one, the fact that those darn cookies kept multiplying in front of our eyes, and what time did we finish? like 2 or something? :) you guys were serious troopers! thanks so much for participating in this tradition with us - it is one of my favorites from growing up and i sometimes have to drag a certain someone kicking and screaming into it each year :), so the backup is nice. ha!
