A common question when you have a new baby is, "Who does s/he look like?" I don't know why but I have such a hard time answering this usually. It's difficult to compartmentalize my babies' features and remember what the others looked like as newborns. And, although for short moments I will, finding me or Ryan in their faces can also be difficult. I go back and forth with Margaret. I think she has Jo's (Ryan's) mouth and Atticus's nose and Jo's (my) eyes. But she changes so much every day who knows! Here are pictures of the kids all about 1 or 2 weeks old.
One thing I do know is that all three have been FREAKING CUTE. Freaking.
I loved this, haha. Personally, I see a lot more Tic than Jo in Maggie from the photos in this post, but I don't think that counts for anything considering I've never seen Maggie in person. By the way, any tips for inducing labor?
ReplyDeletehaha... i glanced down at the first couple of pictures before i finished reading and after looking at the first picture, i was thinking, "wow! maggie looks a lot like jo!" hehe.
ReplyDeletefun to compare! it's so interesting to look at the pictures of jo and tic retrospectively because when they were little you were wondering what they would turn out looking like, but now knowing what they look like a little bit more grown up, you can really see those beginnings in their little newborn faces. did that make sense? :)
anyways, i see lots of jo in maggie, but i also agree with casey - i saw lots of atticus from these pictures that you posted, but i don't necessarily see that in person. maybe she's just a good hybrid of the two. actually, the last couple of times i've seen her, i keep catching something that looks like ryan - eyes? who knows. you're right - she's freaking cute!
just looked at those pictures again, and i think maggie definitely has atticus' nose!

i think in that second set maggie definitely looks like JO. but who knows. it will be fun to see what happens as she gets older. you are right, either way they are all FREAKING cute.
ReplyDeleteWow guys! Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you. Amy, I don't know how you do it. I can barely handle Isa right now, so I can't imagine having three. You're the woman. You look great too, btw. You look nice and skinny right before you devlivered. Just a little b-ball there...nothing like my hippo-ish look prior to my delivery. Ask Ryan, my ankles were terrible. Anyway, you guys look so cute and I'm so happy for you. Let me know if you need any help...I'm home on B-days! :)
